First New Book of 2010

Wednesday, January 6th, 2010

One of the things I’d like to do this year is read more. I’m gonna put the number at 26 books, one every two weeks. I think this should be okay, since I can be busy with work and the gym, etc. I picked up Barbara Kingsolver’s The Prodigal Summer at Barnes & Noble after work today. I haven’t started it yet, probably will tomorrow, maybe during lunch. I read her Animal, Vegetable, Miracle earlier this year and I really liked it. I know that Prodigal Summer is fiction, but I still have high hopes for it.

5.) A Wild Sheep Chase: Murakami Haruki
6.) Hard Boiled Wonderland and the End of the World: Murakami Haruki
7.) South of the Border, West of the Sun: Murakami Haruki
8.) The Wind-Up Bird Chronicle: Murakami Haruki
9.) Sputnik Sweetheart: Murakami Haruki
10.) Blind Willow, Sleeping Woman: Murakami Haruki

16.) IV: A Decade of Curious People and Dangerous Ideas: Chuck Klosterman
